We're leafing on a jet plant, embarking on six, really hard, tough, stressful weeks of adventuring. So, if you're sitting at your office, or on your phone (maybe on the loo) ...or even in the DMV, let this site be a reminder that...it could be worse... you could be river rafting, surfing, big chillin' with those monos locos, or even eating crocodile. Enjoy. We will miss you all.

Early Morning Lesson

Hey pals, G here, just wanted to help you get your day started right, with a couple quick early morning lessons...

#1) 8 o'clock breakfast means 8 o'clock breakfast.  Got out into the kitchen this morning at 8:40, and no one was there.  A cold cup of coffee and the faint smell of cooking left me hungry.  Tawshz straggled out after me, and we shared some bread from last night's dinner.  Se la vi.  Let's get ready for the day...

#2) Make sure your clocks are set to the local time! Lo and behold, after we get showered, dressed, and packed for our day adventure through San Jose (more to come on that later)  we hear the sound of pots and pans/ollas y sartenes clanking in the kitchen.  We hadn't arisen at 8:40, but 6:40.  Oh well, nothing like an early start to the day...and a nice hot breakfast!

And that's that.   We'll be back tonight, with tales and pics of San Jose (and my sweeeeet new hair cut!)

  1. What there is no room service or breakfast in bed? Sounds like you need to have a word with the butler!
